Quietly Thinking About Tennant Creek, 2009


Louise Flaherty is an artist based in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory currently working as the Arts Program Manager for Barkly Regional Arts, which covers the Tennant Creek area and the surrounding Barkly region. Barkly Regional Arts is a networking and resources organisation working in response to community needs it works in partnership with individuals and organisations to facilitate and promote artistic activities; nurturing the creative expression of the Barkly Region and showcasing our diverse cultural riches to the global community. Louise is a graduate of the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours), South Australian School of Art and is currently works in a number of mediums including ceramics, video and installation.
