Stephanie Radok is continuing her investigations into weeds across the hemispheres and across cultures. In her recent Weed Maps the wealth of information flowing to us from the internet is contrasted with what look like pages from illuminated books, handwritten and accompanied by freely drawn images of plants. The works which are painted in lightfast ink and acrylic paint on heavy rag paper fold up like maps to be carried and stored for future reference. On their blank side regional maps may be drawn in by the user.
